DT Rants

Nothing much to rant about this week. Had Marvelous, Heidi and Fei at first, they caught everything I threw, and I didn't throw wild.

Though, I do disagree with 2 rankings.
Biggest bat should be the Generalissimo.
San san should be the best bat
Weixiong should get the gold glove. He had a much better game in the OF.

Since when did Guppy think he could outrun the Sandman to tag him? Gosh! We could've had him. We were all lined up for the rundown.

San San had the most consistant bat I've seen this side of SAS for a long time.
The Generalissimo was stupendous, but his exploits were overshadowed by a monster hit from Melson. That ball went from one corner of the field to the other. It's probably somewhere in Indonesia by now.

Nomah had ONE play the entire DAY. ONE. I have it all on tape. I can't wait to make a highlight reel, put it right next to Guppy's. There should be a Nomah Rant right here in this blog too. It would've scored a 0 on the DT rant scale. Either he botched it with his glove or with his arm. Meanwhile, the real Nomah is doing just as badly playing for the Cubs at 3rd base. He's so bad that MLB.com is showing his error clips on the highlight reel. Amazing.

Weixiong is a scary outfielder. He's like a young Swat and a young TH combined. Fantastic range, brilliant timing and excellant glovework. I can't wait for him to turn 30 (like the rest of us), and say "I could've had that...when I was younger"(quote from Swat)

I wish I hadn't missed last week's game. oh well.

PS. Heidi had a good hitting day too. Cept she met her nemesis, Diana, who fielded her hits and threw her out a couple of times.

PPS. Jason made an amazing play throwing out a batter from his position at Rover. Great throw! Great play!

PPPS. Best play of the game was a 1-4-6-3 double play to get Diana and Rickey out in the 2nd inning. Rickey hit a hard ground ball up the middle, in true Nomahesque fashion, Nomah deflected the ball to the right side of the infield. San San showed some amazing reflexes to adjust to the deflection, fielded the ball and made a perfect feed to DT who was on the bag, and he made the throw to Marvelous to get Rickey by half-a-step.
