DT Rants

The Baseball gods are angry with us. I don't know why. Maybe it's because we are starting later and later and not properly worshipping with two games, maybe because the faithful are diminishing in number, maybe because we have allowed the frisbee players to stomp all over our holy ground, maybe because so many of us seemed to have lost the love, the passion and the sprit for the game, maybe because precious blood has been spilled on the holy ground that did not return. Either way, the Baseball gods are angry with us, and they punished us with a downpour during the third inning of our game. They punished us with cricketeers on the main field, and archery on the lower field. They punished us with new signs at West Coast Park disallowing organised ball games, taking away our alternate field. They punished us with a uneven, lumpy, clay and mud ridden field by a large drain to use as an alternate-alternate field. And in three weeks, they are taking away three of our best players, and sending them to baseball homeland. One forever, one for a year and one for six months. Further depleting our numbers. The Baseball gods are very angry with us.

Since West Coast Park is now forever off-limits (till they take down the sign), our primary alternate field is now at Clementi, so when(not if) you're late, and there's no one at NUS, head down to Clementi. If you are driving, it's very close by, if not, grab a 96 or 151 towards Clementi, and get off after Kent Vale.

The Star is the carpark to Rube's place, or you can also park at the Multistory carpark at blk415
