Oh how the baseball gods mock us. 6 weeks without ball, and when we finally start our worship, the skies open. Heidi momentarily became Donald Blake, as she called down the lightning when her bat struck the ball. It was a magnificant line-drive, but no one saw it as everyone ducked and covered. The crack of her bat on the ball became the crack of thunder and the flash of lightning carried the ball down the line. We didn't see the hit, but we definitely saw the ball land way out in rightfield.
We welcome back Cool Papa, from his hiatus, though Rickey had of take advantage of his semi-medicated state. We also welcome back Fye from Changmai, and the missing couples, Jason&Diana and Paul&Thaddeus. We haven't seen them in awhile.
We play Monday, 2nd Jan, 10am. Hopefully the baseball gods will smile on us this time. DY is back and he'll be playing.
