DT Rants

No Rants today.
It was a brilliant game on Saturday. I only got the ball thrice. Once on a relay that helped Nomah hit on a girl, and twice from grounders from Rickey. Fubbed the throw to get Rickey out on a DP, but Heidi saved my ass with a heads-up play to tag out Fei. Rickey tried to test the gap between 3rd and SS, thinking that only Jimmy could make that play....oh well..

Looking at the lineup, one would've expected the TWOs to have swept the series, but the ONEs showed that a great glove can beat a great bat.
The TWOs had a stacked offensive lineup, with Cool Papa, Rube and the Say Hey Kid, but the outstanding outfield glovework of Weixiong, Anthony, Spider and Seven made mincemeat of the huge bats. Cool Papa had to dig deep to smack a couple past Spider in LF, and the Rube was caught by Weixiong everytime. Maybe Weixiong's nickname should be Rubane.
The ONEs then strung together singles and doubles to build up a lead that the TWOs could not catch, try as they might.
Gotta give credit to the TWOs as they did not go down fighting, putting up a strong 2-out rally in the bottom of both games. But the effort was for nought, as the ONEs defence easily shut them out.
Oh, the Generalissimo hit one over Cool Papa for the HR. awesome stuff.
