DT Rants

The first rant I have, and it's a big one, is with the goddamn grandpa and baseball. Look, I understand the baseball is the priority for grandpa and joZ, which is fine with me, they don't show up 6months out of the year anyway due to their baseball season. But trying to poach players from the SAS to make up numbers for his baseball game is just uncalled for. If we had too many players, and you needed one or two, that's fine. but we had short numbers, and then you still had the fucking audacity to try to pull players over to your game. fuck off, you're not welcome at SAS. If you play your friendly on sunday and you need players, sure, plenty of people will volunteer. But you have come long enough to know that 2pm to 6pm is SAS time. You wanna go, fuck off, go ahead, but leave our guys alone. If someone from SAS wants to go and play, sure, I understand, no one will stop them BUT YOU DO NOT CALL PEOPLE AND ASK THEM TO JOIN YOU. If your team is short of numbers, its because you can't get them. We don't try to poach from your game when we are short of numbers? Do you understand what poaching means? or do you want me to link a dictionary to this post?
To Fei...I'm really disappointed in you.
To Dave, thank you for staying. It was a damn fun game.

Second rant, and this is out to everyone, we really need to start earlier. We really are getting later and later, and while we still get in at least one game, it gets really uncomfortable, as those soccer nazis start intruding on our space. SAS used to be at 2pm, it moved to 2.30pm. Now, we don't even start till 3.30, and that's just plain ridiculous. If everyone could show up between 2.30 and 3, we could get our game going by 3, and get in some fun before we lose light, and lose the field. We've even lost the field to the frisbee ppl, who've started showing up at 2pm, just so that they can dominate the side of the field in which we usually play.

Geok was gold glove. Clear as day.

Actually, there WAS one opportunity for the "Claw". Soft grounder to Rickey who COULD have tossed it to the SS to make the DP. But then, he was so suprised he had the ball, he plum forgot to throw it.

Seven must have been in cricket mode, cos all he saw was cones, and all he tried to do was hit the ball past the cones for six.

I think we should get some cones.

all grandpa had to do was cover the plate, and rickey wouldn't have had a homerun... he was playing catcher, after all.
