DT Rants about not being able to rant this week

Wasn't able to Rant this week, though I had quite a few things to say.
Well, better late than never.

1. I finally managed to convince my friend Marc to show up for Ball. As I had predicted, he should be quite adept at the game since he plays with his own balls and stick all the time. All joking aside, he hit really well for a firsttimer...wait, better than well, he hit awesomely (including a HR). He didn't get much action in RF since Rube was not around, but I'm waiting for this weekend when the Rube plugs some down to him.

2. It was a game of errors, but I can't complain since for the first time in so many weeks, we finally get to play normal rules. We haven't played normal rules for so long that we've almost forgotten how to. Loads of silly, bonehead plays, but that makes the game all the more fun.

3. Good to see the reappearance of New John. He's been coming out two weeks in a row, and we hope to keep seeing him. He's got superb range at short, and a mean bat too. May be one of the best shortstops that have come our all. He has the complete game.

4. Where is SuperDad? Ever since SuperMum met us at the BBQ, SuperDad has gone missing. Ground control to SuperDad, take your protein pills and come out to the field.

5. Rickey's learning how to play cricket, and not doing that bad a job. Soft hands...it's all about the soft hands.

6. Not sure about the Seven MBP call. He had a good game, but New John was booming the homers and holding the infield.

7. You'd think using Tennis shoes on hardground would be a good idea.... Well, you'd be wrong.
